Lado was created within JJ's Hospitality Group — carrying forward a decade-plus of scratch-made cooking and a reputation for genuine care.
Founder JJ Paredes, a Venezuelan native, has built his career on a simple belief: that bold, honest food has the power to bring people together. His inspiration draws from the vibrant cuisines of Latin America and the Mediterranean — the same flavors that define Lado's palate today.
At the heart of the kitchen is Olivia Lozada, JJ's mother. While JJ brings the passion for flavor, Olivia brings the heart — ensuring every dish carries the same love, care, and integrity she brought to her own family's table. That commitment to wholesome, handcrafted food is the foundation of every gathering Lado creates.
